Ortho Sista's ( and brothers) have decided to team up again in 2017 MACA Ride to Conquer Cancer benefiting Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research. It’s a 200+ km cycling journey throughout Western Australia's countryside over two days. 2014 was our first year as team Ortho Sista's, (four of us Orthopaedic Nurses) all with a story to tell of family, friends, colleagues & patients whose lives have been changed by cancer.
We’re here because we know that cancer is too big a disease to ignore. It affects everyone!
By riding in this event we are doing something about it. We’re rolling closer and closer to the end of cancer. It’s an awesome triumph in a physical sense and emotionally as well.
So why not join our little team Ortho Sista's. This can be your opportunity to do something challenging and rewarding in so many ways. We will be doing training rides, helping each other to fundraise, and generating awareness of critical cancer research at the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research, WA's premiere adult medical research institute.
If you are not into riding a bike, there are plenty of ways you can help our team to raise money that all helps towards cancer research.
Please donate to us or join us. Thank you in advance for your support.
