Please Support My Ride to Conquer Cancer™
We all know people who have been diagnosed with cancer. My list includeds my wife, father, my mother-in-law, aunts, uncles, cousins, team mates and work colleagues. However, the full list includes many, many more names. How many people do you know who have suffered from this truely horrible disease?
Please support me in this event by making a donation. Funds raised in The MACA Ride to Conquer Cancer will support groundbreaking, critical cancer research being undertaken at the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research.

Thanks for sponsoring me
I completed the 5 Dams Challenge on 2 April. In all I rode 250 km and climbed almost 3,000 m. But the good news is that through the generosity of many people I raised over $1,300 in sponsorship for the day. Thanks to everyone who supported me.

Sponsor me on the 5 Dams Challenge
I'm taking on the 5 Dams Challenge on 2 April. I'll be riding around 250 km and climbing around 2800 metres (excluding riding to and from the start/finish line). Please sponsor me and make a donation towards my fundraising for the RTCC. 10c per km represents a donation of around $25. Thanks for your support.

On my way
Well I'm off to a good start with my fundraising. At $2,200 I'm only $300 short of my first milestone of $2,500. However, my goal this year is to raise $20,000 so please keep those donations coming. Better still, why not organise a small fundraising event and raise some money to contribute? A card night, a high tea, a neighbourhood BBQ.

I'm all ready to go in 2017
Well I have registered again for 2017. The 2016 Perth RTCC was probably the most rewarding of all the 9 events I have participated in since 2012. I achieved all the goals I set myself back in October last year.
1. Personally raise at least $15,000 and earn a Polka Dot Jersey (I actually raised $16,500)
2. Captain a team with at least 20 others (we had 26 in the team and 20 managed to raise the minimum $2,500)
3. Be one of the select few to have participated in all 5 Perth Ride to Conquer Cancer events since 2012.
During the year my wonderful wife Louise was diagnosed with breast cancer. She is still undergoing treatment but all is going well. With some good karma and your help and support we are looking forward to a full recovery.
You all know what to do. Dig deep and make a donation today.
